Anyone can learn the principles of well-being taught in this course and apply them in their lives for positive change. I provide you with the strategies, techniques, and empowering exercises to use to get you there. We all struggle with challenges in our lives – whether trying to quit a recreational substance, stop gambling, let go of compulsive shopping or eating, stop obsessing about controlling others, let go of a painful past, or whatever it is. These outer behaviors reflect an inner psyche that is out of balance with itself and un-grounded in a strong sense of self-worth and love. We often find ourselves trapped leading an unhealthy life style that blocks us from living to our fullest potential, thus denying ourselves a truly fulfilling and joyful life. This course can help you with identifying your inner demons and reclaiming your life, thus transforming it into one that is more joyful, empowering, and enriching. And, who wouldn’t want that?

I know that’s what I wanted and so desperately tried to find when I was struggling with my own issues with substance abuse and depression. But, I had no framework, structure, or guidance for how to change my life around. I didn’t know how to heal my emotional wounds, change my thinking patterns, and develop new and life-affirming habits and behaviors. So, I created this program I share with you in this course. This is a compilation of all the self-help books I read, all the self-made exercises I did, all the tools and strategies I employed, to get me on a better path. And they work! Kerry is the author of the book, Principles of Well-Being: Life Lessons for Positive Change, which covers how to learn and live core principles for well-being and happiness. She is also founder of the Academy of Well-Being, a collection of online courses on various topics related to well-being, life transformation, and personal growth, particularly for those struggling with how to successfully recover from addiction or other self-destructive habits.. She is an adjunct college professor teaching courses in English Literature, Business Communications, Composition, and other topics.

Kerry conducts in-person workshops on a variety of topics from personal growth and development to business topics, such as connected leadership and well-being at work. She also shares well-being principles on her instagram channel @principlesofwellbeing. She lives in Encinitas, CA, has two children, and is also an artist.
